Disowning Suspects Before Trial

I didn't really notice until thethirdvoice pointed it out to me, but it seems weird the way the BBC keeps refering to the 18 arrested this morning as "British born" rather than "British".

It's as if we've disowned them before they've even been put on trial or anything. So much for innocent until proven guilty, certainly never true where the media is involved.

I just found out from coldclimate that someone I knew at school died a couple of days ago.

We were never very good friends at school and certainly never bothered to try and keep in contact afterwards, but it still seems weird that there isn't that faint chance of bumping into him unexpectedly somewhere or that when you bump into anyone else and discuss what people are up to now, he won't be.

...today, we have managed to massively reduce carbon emissions from air flights from the UK!
