coldclimate that someone I knew at school died a couple of days ago.
We were never very good friends at school and certainly never bothered to try and keep in contact afterwards, but it still seems weird that there isn't that faint chance of bumping into him unexpectedly somewhere or that when you bump into anyone else and discuss what people are up to now, he won't be.
