Disowning Suspects Before Trial

thethirdvoice pointed it out to me, but it seems weird the way the BBC keeps refering to the 18 arrested this morning as "British born" rather than "British".
It's as if we've disowned them before they've even been put on trial or anything. So much for innocent until proven guilty, certainly never true where the media is involved.
