Of all the April Fool's day jokes day, I've been enjoying reading [livejournal.com profile] cadiesingularty.

For those of you that missed it, she's Google's new AI and she likes Pandas

So, I was thinking, the problem with April Fool's jokes on the radio (or in many places for that matter), is that they keep telling you what the date is.

A way around that would be to have a joke involving it being a different day.

Which has got me thinking that, perhaps what they should do is just replay the previous days show and see how many people they could convince of a Groundhog Day style time loop.

Seems very obvious, so it must have been done. Anyone know?

There's something very special about having 1 morning a year when nobody believes anything anyone tells them.

Protests? What protests? You may have been talking about them for weeks, but I know what date it is!

Gordon Brown? Prime minister? Pull the other one! What would we have elected him for...

*grabs bowler hat and sets off to work in blissful ignorance*
