Having just used the word intrigued (with it's intriguing spelling) in a comment in [livejournal.com profile] fluffle's journal and my current strange desire to use the word "marvellous" as much as possible, I think it must be about time to create a list of key words and phrases to use at every possible opportunities.

So here we are:

  • Marvellous

  • Intrigued

  • Jolly good

  • Foiled again!

  • Bother!

  • Run away!

(more to come as and when I think of them...)

"Jolly good" always makes me giggle. I don't think I'll ever be able to say it effectively with this big honker of an American accent I have. "Marvellous" and "Intrigued," I can handle!

Marvellous is a firm favourite of mine, too. As is 'tit' which is very appropriate in a surprisingly wide range of situations!

How about:

'Curses!' and 'Oh my giddy aunt!'

I like those :-)

I rather like "splendid" myself.

I'm assuming "Run away!" is to be used in the Holy Grail stylee...
