[hmmm_tea]

So Tuvalu are making lots of money by selling domain names under there top level country domain (.tv) to all the TV companies.

I think I need to set up an independent state somewhere with a good 2 letter acronym to make lots of money. Any ideas for a name?

UPDATE: benparker has suggested South East Essex and selling .sex, but then he would!

It's a nice idea, but hasn't everyone cottoned on now? Even if you call your state "xxx" won't they say "Hahaha! you can have mv! How do you like that, Mr Clever Tea Drinker?" :)

Yes, but if like tuvalu it's a series of atolls, then surely with time the coral with grow and reach the surface again....

And they can build a big tower with a government on it, and all live in australia as citizens of a country they can't visit. In fact, they might not even need the tower. Though considering their primary source of income so far, they'd probably have to sell passports or something.

Does it matter any more than other erosion, erruptions, etc? If it were sapient, that would be fun :)
