I Came, I Saw, I Dug Potatoes

I've had an allotment down the road for the past couple of years (mostly been slowly clearing it so far). Haven't had a huge amount of time to get down there recently but went up today to dig up the potatoes.

Found 15kg of them in total (about half Maris Piper and the rest King Edwards). A lot of them seem quite small compared to the ones I've grown previous years, but there's enough sizable ones for jackets. Also came back with a few apples and a handful of cranberries.




I've got some garlic bulbs and onion sets ready to go into that bed when I next get up there.

it seems like the same goes my husband and I. ours are both big and small. Hopefully next year is better for the both of us.
