LJ & Facebook
Sep. 1st, 2010 11:07 amIn other news LJ has finally taken it's first steps into the 21st century and people can finally comment on here using facebook accounts.
EDIT: Except of course for the minor point that it doesn't actually appear to work. Back to the drawing board LJ.
EDIT 2: Seems to be working now :-)

Re: FYI...
Date: 2010-09-01 05:38 pm (UTC)The reposting entries thing has been there (albeit in a different format) for ages and makes perfect senses, I don't really see why anyone would want to repost comments to facebook or twitter.
As far as I can see the main argument if anyone ever choose to use it on a flocked post for some unknown reason, they could mention the contents of the post in their reply and make it public. Surely however, they could do the same anyway, by just posting their reply on facebook in the first place.
I think I'm happy to trust my friends not to do the former as much as I trust them not to do the latter.
Alas, the facebook accounts commenting doesn't seem to work as I keep getting a facebook connect error.
