A Mothers Day in 2 Parts?

Following on from my post about mothers day earlier, it occurs to me that Mum is half American.

Does that mean I should send half a card on the 4th Sunday of Lent and the other half on 2nd Sunday of May?

Buy two identical cards. Tear them both in two. Send her the top half of one of them on the first Mothers' Day, and the bottom half for the next one.

Then watch as she tries to match the two non-matching halves.

Or just get her chocolates. Twice.
