TH2058 and 30 Pieces of Silver
Jan. 11th, 2009 01:57 pmAs I had a bit of time to kill between work and Thrales tour of Clerkenwell, had discovered that the Tate Modern was open late on a Friday and had wanted to see TH2058, I wondered down there to take a look.
It's very well done and you do get the feeling of a large public shelter following some disaster. I thought the choice of the titles of the books on the beds was a nice touch too (e.g. "Man in the High Castle", "War of the Worlds", "Fahrenheit 451", etc).
I also wondered up to the surrealist galleries. Was particularly impressed with "Thirty Pieces of Silver", which I don't remember seeing when I've been round there before.
