It's been one of those bizarre days...

...where you end up having a long conversation with a photocopier salesman about different types of granite.

and you discover why the lamp, which worked fine when you first put it on your desk, but never used because your desk was right under a light, didn't work when you took it down to your desk in the library where it's darker, when, having tried changing the bulb without any effect, you decide to try changing the fuse in the plug to discover there isn't one in there! Why on earth would anyone take the fuse out of the lamp on someone's desk?!?!

So, arranged to meet Martin from Gogs for a drink this evening, so I could get the boots I left in his car (when I was carrying morris sticks across london) back.

We went to the Market Porter and randomly met Michelle (another person we both know via Gogs)...
