I feel your poll is slightly hampered by the fact that I am not a man and therefore whether I try the tea cosy on or not may not indicate my trustworthyness.
(generally my impulse on seeing a tea cosy is to ask where did you buy that/who made that for you? because they're often so impossible to find :P)
I was wondering who would come back with that first, but as he said man, that's what the quote is. Although when I've heard it before people have generally said human. I wonder when he said it.
The poll doesn't ask whether you'd try on the tea cosy though, so it's open to interpretation on that front :-)
As I'm clearly in a contrary mood this morning I'd like to say that I would never remove a tea cosy from actually fulfilling it's purpose to try it on... otherwise I'm not entirely sure. I very rarely see tea cosies not on a teapot.
