thethirdvoice and a good ceilidh on Saturday night with Jabadaw, I got home on Sunday to find EDF had left a generator running at the end of the road next to the substation.
Seem to have nicely missed a powercut then...
Got in to find it was freezing, however, as the timer on the radiator had forgotten all it's settings and defaulted to "off".
Reprogrammed it and left it on for the rest of the evening, but didn't really want to leave it on all night (I'd like to claim I was thinking about the environment, but it was more to do with my electricity bill). Needless to say I'd turned into a small lump of ice when I woke up this morning...
