PM gone within year, allies say

Does this really qualify as news?

The media have been making wild stabs in the dark about this ever since the election last year. What's all that about?

Radio 4 seems to be taking every opportunity to ask any government official their views about this no matter what they've come on to talk about. Can't they just stick to what's really news and what they've actually come to talk about?

Ok, so he'll probably resign at some point. But does the exact date matter to the extent that it should over shadow any other issues within the UK or even Worldwide?

Can't we just put this to bed for a while and leave it until there's actually some news to tell?

Oddly when a significantly large bunch of normally loyal MPs including a junior minister write a letter asking the PM to resign then yeah, I'd say that's news.

Yes, admittedly this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/5319328.stm) is news.

However, this is just a recent development the obsession with making wild speculations over the date of his departure and asking MPs when they think it will be every other question on an interview on an entirely unrelated topic has been going on for months now.
