Was amazed by the amount of space on the train home this evening. Normally standing room only, we had a carriage between about 4 or 5 of us.

I could get used to this whole World Cup nonesense (as long as all the important matches are when I want to go places in rush hour of course...).

Really weird coming out of work to find the streets deserted. Had to keep checking my watch to make sure it really was that time...

I'm shocked you aren't into the World Cup!!! Sometimes I feel like the only American on the edge of the seat, than other times I find other like minded people who are loving the game.

I will say the save by England in the 45 minute was amazing.

I was looking forward to a nice, cool, empty tube home but a bloody bomb scare closing the central line put pay to that. Hey ho.

Unfortunately I had to work late and the train I would usually get back at about 7.30pm, which would normally be quite empty, was packed thanks to people going home after watching the match. I had to stand for the whole hour. Grrr, stupid football.
