More on Censorship

hmmm_teaI've been interested to read the comments on this poll. It's especially interesting the way people generally have assumed the main thing you would want to censor against would be certain forms of pornography.
In retrospect it's not entirely surprising that what the discussion centered around. However, it's not at all the context the idea was being discussed around on the radio this morning (which I didn't mention in the previous post). Radio 4 were more concerned about the tube bombings last year and the fact instructions for creating bombs were readily available over the internet.
Personally, I think if anyone is keen enough to cause that much damage that they're willing to lose their life in doing so, they're going to find a way to do this whatever happens and that censorship would bring all the issues mentioned in the discussions around the poll.
