Hmmm. Not sure even Edith does 12 a *day*. If virtual ones count *hug*, why not set up one of those mawkish flower-illustrated cgi-driven hug-counters?

my dad sent it to me (on paper) years ago. I was insulted by the implication (I averaged 0 hugs a day at the time, and he knew it). I have never forgotten it. I still have it somewhere. I'm still bitter, can you tell?

Hmmm. Maybe I'm not consistent. Or maybe I can recognise when *I'm* being over-sweet. Or maybe I'm prematurely defensive about finding such things cute :)

thought I'd try and see if I could get 12 hugs and if I could achieve that I'd look at 12 hugs a day...

...and if I can't then...
