Dispite the problems it seemed to go really well!

I missed the ceilidh due to being at Pecsaetan's weekend, so am curious now as to what happened...

Email might be useful, but to me as a consumer it seemed to me to go well, but had the impression there had been few people organising it and those who had has been rushed off their feet. And random problems with electricity, public address, etc. Never mind, talk to someone on the committee.

Oh, the PA was f**ked. In the end the band ended up at the far end of the hall rather than on the stage, which cut down on dance space somewhat and made it slightly hard to see the caller! Also I kept getting confused and wanting the top of the sets to be the stage, when it, err, wasn't.

But it was a marvellous ceilidh - really good dances, great band, really good fun.

Yes, shame to have missed it, but I think the weekend probably more than made up for it (and we did have a few ceilidh/contra dances to Martyn & Andrew calling to some of the musicians from Jabbadaw and Hekety which was rather cool...)

...and Stömp next week (Yey! Stömp!), so can't complain...
