An MW essay question from a few years ago:

"How would you sell wine to the Martians?"

first, I'd give them a job so that they could earn some money to pay for the wine.

but you don't give someone an address unless they have an address, so I'd have to find somewhere for them to live.

but they couldn't afford to do that unless they had some money, so I'd turn them over to social services instead.

if they ever emerged, I'd invite them to a wine-tasting to see what they liked.

How about with one of those ghastly market research things - the ones where they lure you in with the promise of, 'Just five minutes' and then remove your will to live with endless questions about which brand you prefer and eventually con you into buying something you didn't really mean to just to get out again? Would take care of all the excess naff plonk infesting supermarket shelves at this time of year!

Or would this be too cruel?
Would this be humans performing cruel and unusual experiments on the aliens in a bizarre and ironic twist of fate?

Or would this simply be the Rocket getting a bit carried away with the question...

Seem to manage to get out of them quite well normally (well the drinks ones at least).

ie

Researcher - "Do you work in the drinks business"
Me - "Yes"
Researcher - *stunned silence as they try to work out what to do now*

Last time I managed to get the free chocolate they were giving people for doing the test thing without doing the test because they relised I wasn't eligable[1]

[1] I love the perks of my job...

I suppose you're very nearly an MW anyway, so whatever you write must be right...

(Grin) I bet you get some brilliant stunned-bunny looks...

Extra points for relieving them of the chocolate first, too :-)
