Public Transport

cartesiandaemon and ladyofastolat, I thought I'd write a post about public transport (well probably would have written it anyway - strange coincedence or just the fact public transport is crap?)
We all know that trains are late a lot of the time, but it just seems very telling that the recorded announcers at the station are even programmed with any reason that might occur...
In fact I wouldn't be surprised to hear them say
"We are sorry to annouce that the 09.59 service to Caterham has been delayed by approximately 3 hours due to penguins on the line..."
