So, yesterday, it was apparently Vegetarian day in Ghent (English articles for those of you who, like me, can't speak Dutch: BBC, Guardian)

To show my support for the occasion, I didn't eat any meat all day.

The Docklands Light Rollercoaster?

Was on the DLR earlier today and suddenly realised how much it aspires to be a rollercoaster with all the tracks going under and over each other.

I wonder whether any of the more obscure branches have steep drops and loop-the-loops?
